Her father was a headache specialist and it was his career which
led Lisa to have a great interest in biology. Her brothers friend
an actor and
comedian Jon Lovitz inspired Lisa to persue a career in acting which was
a
comlete change from her intiall intentions
of persuing a career in Science.
Education:
Graduated
in New York at Vasser College in Poughkeepsie, with a degree in
biology.
She intended to persue a career in reserch. Lisa studied with Cynthia
Szigeti, a
well-known improvisation teacher based in Los Angeles.
Career:
Lisa made
many friends whilst studying at Cynthia and her dreams of becomming
a performer grew stronger. Her acting career began in 1989 when she
was
acepted as a member of the improv group
The Groundlings.
Other Television Series include:
Martin Donovan
and Lyle Lovett, and starred in "Clockwatchers," with Toni Collette and
Parker Posey. Most recently Kudrow co-starred in "Analyze This" for
director Harold
Ramis, co-starring Billy Crystal and Robert DeNiro.
